As the first cocktail book to be published in Luxembourg, the idea was born during the extended periods of lockdown in 2020. However, its content draws from the authors’ extensive experiences gathered over many years of global bar-hopping, from Shanghai to Chicago, from Vancouver to Buenos Aires, with a special appreciation for Luxembourg’s own bar scene. This book equips readers with the essential knowledge and skills to craft delicious cocktails and unleash their own creativity in mixology.
Daniel Eischen was born in 1965 in Ettelbruck. He combines the talents of an entrepreneur, coach, author and musician.
After studying business and economy in France and the United States, he co-founds Concept Factory and Interact, two major Luxembourg advertising and marketing agencies. Daniel has been chairing various business federations and is a regular speaker at conferences and events.
Daniel has been active since high school in different cultural domains including music and theatre. Having had the pleasure to travel around the world for his job, Confinement Cocktails is his first publishing and storytelling project.
Françoise Reuter was born in 1969 in the city of Luxembourg. She started her professional career in TV and film production, followed by media sales for IP Luxembourg and RTL.
Since the early 2000s, she works as a strategic marketing consultant and business manager for a Luxembourg group of advertising agencies. Françoise is Past Chair of MarkCom, the Luxembourg federation of communication agencies.
Confinement Cocktails – Great Cocktails and the Stories They Tell – is Françoise’s first publishing project. She signs all the cocktail recipes of the book.
